Whether you just want a simple temporary marker to mark seedling or a long term marker,
there are lots of ideas and resources which can be used to mark your plants.

 Grease Pencil or China Marker

Pop-cycle sticks soak up water as they are short and ink from a permanent marker will quickly become a blur.
Painting a paint stick before using a Permanent Marker Pen could be a better choice.

In the previous Post Deep Calling to Deep I spoke of the beginnings of my Journey of Faith when the Holy Spirit taught me to do a word study on my own, to discern the deeper meaning of Scripture.  As I did, I discovered the Root of some Hebrew Words which caused me to understand how Scripture could be applied personally, to bring about an inner transformation.

After reading
The Words of Jesus a copy of a 1943 Vintage Book, I wondered about several verses in Matthew again. They seemed to be confusing, or at the least a contradiction, so I prayed for the Holy Spirit to give me a fresh understanding and waited for clarity.

A few weeks later, all contradictions I wondered about previously were cleared up as I listened to
the Video in the Link below, which sovereignly came across my path, in an unexpected way.

In the Video Hebrew Scholar Nehemiah Gordon a X-Modern Day Pharisee speaks of the Principles of the Pharisee, enabling us to more fully understand why Yeshua (Hebrew for Jesus) rebuked the Scribes and Pharisee's. He brings much to light as he compares some of the Original Hebrew interpretation of words with the Greek Interpretations, which most Scripture today uses. Mr Gordon has numerous Videos, in which he touches upon other Hebrew Scriptures as well, I recommend them too.

In this one Matthew 15 and 23 in particular were clarified for me, an answer to my prayers:

In the Greek Matthew 23 records the words,  "Then spoke Jesus to the multitude and to His disciples, saying, 'The Scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat.
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do ye not according to their works; for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne and...........'

The Original Hebrew states, "The Scribes, Sages and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat.  All therefore whatsoever the Pharisee's and Scribes speaking as Moses bid you observe, that observe and do; but do ye not according to the WORKS of the Pharisee's and Scribes; for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne and................."

Jesus began to rebuke the Pharisee's and Scribes openly after that because one of the Principles of the Pharisee at that time was they believed they had absolute Authority 'on Earth' to interpret Scripture, even above God Who was in Heaven. The added to what Moses taught, usurping the Commandments of God, causing the people to sin. They believed they could proclaim their own Sanctified Traditions and Oral Laws which, as Jesus pointed out "shut up the Kingdom of Heaven; making the Commandments of God of non-effect, Teaching for Doctrines the Commandments of Men" which put the Hebrew people in bondage, transgressing the law of God. The Scribes taught these Oral Laws as well.

Jesus/Yeshua taught the Law of Love and the Gospel of Father God and the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, which set the hearer free from man-made Traditions, empowering them to live by a Faith that becomes a Knowing founded on God's Truth, once it is experienced.

Today just as in Jesus' Day, many Teach for Doctrines the Commandments of Men. Most Religious Leaders do not encourage us to go to the Holy Spirit directly ourselves and seek to know what is OF the Spirit of Father God and what is of the understandings of the finite mind, passed down as Traditions of Men.  Much is being passed down as parts of the Teachings of Jesus, the Christ, because few have tested it nor sought the mind of the Lord as to whether it is truth or not. Perhaps this is because many Leaders are unaware themselves they can and must do so, even though the Seminary they went to never encouraged such.  Yes, unfortunately, there are some who are Wolves in Sheep's Clothing even in our Generation, seeking to make a Profit from the Gospel or a Name for themselves, in hopes of being esteemed of men. Discerning the Spirit someone is coming from, is part of our Spiritual development too.

The above is only a small portion of what can be learned and thus discerned through the Holy Spirit, so please do investigate further for yourselves. If you want to skip ahead in this Video, keep the above principle in mind and jump to the time 1:13:44. However, in the doing you will miss hearing about other Pharisaical Principles, so keep that in mind, as they lay down a foundation to the rest of the Video and if skipped, might prevent you from receiving insightful revelations.

I found this Video fascinating and suggest to everyone who desires to walk in the spirit and truth of God, that they dig a DEEP foundation and study with a heart to rightly divide the word of truth. As you do I encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit to Teach you that which is pertinent to your lives in our present age:

Luke 6: "And why call ye Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to Me, and heareth My sayings and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like: He is like a man who built a house and DUG DEEP and laid the foundation on a rock; and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house and could not shake it, for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that built a house without a foundation upon the earth, against which the stream beat vehemently, and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Again... for those interested in filling an Easter Basket with Home Cooking, here is another suggestion:

Easy Gourmet Jelly Bean Bark
Pour Chocolate Chips into a 2 Cup Glass Measuring Cup  and microwave 2 to 4 minutes, until barely melted, being careful not to over cook.  OR melt on top of a double boiler. Stir to make sure chips are completed melted.

Pour 2 inch puddles of Chocolate unto wax paper, spreading it out to about 1/4 inch thickness. Using your favorite flavors, while still hot, sprinkle about 15 tiny beans on each, pressing beans lightly into the Chocolate.  Allow to cool completely. Makes about 8 Pieces.

I have not tried this yet... but am considering pouring a thin layer of Chocolate inside of Easter Shaped Cookie Cutters and leaving them until they harden. If this works, will try it within other Cookie Cutters... using melted Chocolate Bars which I will premix with cracked Nuts, Peppermint or other delectable Candies; and simply pour the entire mixture into the cookie cutters to harden, may leave them in the Cookie Cutter and give them away as Gifts.   OR I am also considering pouring the entire mixture onto a wax paper lined rimmed Cookie Sheet or Jelly Roll Pan, and then using a heated Metal Cookie Cutter to cut out the shapes .... naturally all scraps and broken pieces can be eaten as well.
